Greeley police track down robbery suspect | Crime

On April 9, 2012, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a lone gunman entered the Chase Bank at 2600 West 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
The suspect, an Asian male, was armed with a handgun, demanded money and fled the scene on foot with a large of sum of money. Patrol officers arrived, and a detective was assigned to the case.
On May 22, 2012, a male was caught in Laramie, Wyoming, after an attempted robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank there. The manager locked the robber outside prior to his obtaining any money. The male fled in his car but was apprehended a short distance away. Jacob Anderson, 060488, was arrested in conjunction with the Wyoming attempted robbery, but posted bond and was released.
On May 29, 2012, Greeley Police were sent pictures of items recovered from Anderson’s vehicle at the time of his arrest in Wyoming. Greeley investigators recognized these items as being the same items described by witnesses during their initial investigation. Greeley police obtained an arrest warrant for Anderson for robbing the Chase Bank.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on May 29, 2012, Greeley Police, in conjunction with Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the FBI, arrested Anderson at his residence in the 8900 block of Smoke Signal Way in Wellington, Colorado, without incident. Anderson was booked into the Larimer County Detention Facility charged with Aggravated Robbery and Theft.
