Greeley History Museum holds presentation on flight & space travel | Arts & Culture

Join Robert Stack, retired USAF Colonel and teacher, for a presentation about the history of flight and the future of space travel at the Greeley History Museum, Friday, June 1. The presentation begins at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the museum. Admission is free.

The presentation will view the history of flight from Icarus in ancient times, to the potential of owning a flying car in the future. Stack will also delve into topics such as, literature’s impact on flight, Da Vinci’s helicopter, and what future planetary colonies might look like. Some facts, some fantasy, so bring your creative minds, and be prepared to imagine…
